Fatality inquiry listing for April 2007
Edmonton... Public inquiries held under the Fatality Inquiries Act are limited to establishing the cause, manner, time, place and circumstances of death, as well as the identity of the deceased. The judge may make recommendations on the prevention of similar occurrences but is prohibited, under the act, from making findings of legal responsibility.

On August 26, 2005, Irene Raffa became short of breath at her nursing home. Emergency Medical Services attended and while she was being transferred to a stretcher she fell and hit her head. She was admitted to hospital and died on August 30, 2005. |

On March 19, 2004, Ronald Perry was arrested for strange and violent behaviour. In an effort to restrain him, he was electronically stunned multiple times by police. After being transported to the hospital he suffered cardiac arrest and died on March 23, 2004. |
