Parliamentary Secretary Scott Sinclair
Scott Sinclair was appointed the Parliamentary Secretary for Indigenous Policing on July 13, 2023.
Prior to serving as an elected official, Mr. Sinclair was a small business owner, a fifth-generation Indigenous entrepreneur, owning and operating 2 small businesses. He is a decorated hockey player, having won a Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League championship, before coming back home to coach hockey and win 'coach of the year' honours in the North West Junior Hockey League.
Mr. Sinclair is focused on keeping Alberta’s economy strong and being a role model for the next generation of Indigenous leaders. He is a husband and a father to 2 daughters.
Scott Sinclair was first elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Lesser Slave Lake on May 29, 2023.
